If someone wants to subscribe to SugarSync, I'm writing down my referral link so we both get a 500Mb bonus :)

Usefull :)

Edited by Admin: Sorry, removed referral link. Kind of defeats the point of them clicking through MY links...

Yea, I usually use a pair of leather work gloves, but thats only when we're setting up and taking down the racks. Generally, when working with the product, I just use my bare hands as I can feel things better that way.

Hi I just stopped by to drop on your Entrecard and wanted to let you know that you have been added to Blog Angel's All Above the Crease Drop List . I created the list because I was sick of wasting time trying to find people's Ecards. You and everyone on the list has their Entrecards in an easy to find location. Stop by and check it out.

Well, here we are a couple of weeks after all this stuff started and I'd say there are definite problems with Entrecard. Why? My EC ad price is in the toilet, traffic has dropped quite a bit and there is much anger and discontent amongst members (well, some members love it).

It's an absolute mess. I agree with you -- I've found some great blogs through Entrecard (and thanks for mentioning mine!). However, I'm starting to believe there are other ways of getting traffic. I hope things improve at Entrecard and I'm staying active for now, but who knows how things will go over there?

I'm started to put a lot of blogs on my bloglist so as not to lose anyone should I get fed up and shut down my Entrecard account (and, yes, you are on there!)

Take care...

Oh no, I do not feel that you're bad parents because you choose to send your child to public schools. We cannot be watched our children 24/07.

It certainly has jumped the shark. Despite what most people thought, there was a sense of community that has now been replaced by an ad swap/buy service with the emphasis being on the advertiser.

The only thing is that the advertiser emphasis and insistence of where to place the widget, diminishes advertising real estate as bloggers realize you don't need an ad to be an advertiser.

Best,
Rich

Granted, I don't have kids either, but going to public school for K-12 in suburban ATL, I felt like I was rarely challenged by the cirriculum and in retrospect I was taught a lot of nonsense by mediocre teachers.

BUT: should you be expected to shell out money for private school on top of all the taxes you pay for public ed systems? No. Should your family cut your income in half by one of you staying home to teach the kids? Not in this economy.

It seems to me that you're doing what's best for yourself & your family, and it's obvious that you & your wife are going to make sure your girls learn everything you want them to know. I think you know this already, but of course you're not bad parents. I can tell from 3000 miles away :)

I don't have kids so I don't know. I have talked with my wife about this type of thing several times.

I think that getting them a good foundation is top priority. I think that we will home school our kids though elementary or so. Also getting them involved with other children and activities.

I'm also sorry to say, that I went to a private school for a while when I was a kid. They are no different from public schools, other than the fact that they do teach, and expect people to learn. Public schools could learn from that. Also private schools don't take much crap from your kids, they will just kick them out for fear of them hindering the other students.

I also believe in teaching someone what is right and wrong. They will have to make tough choices at some point so there is no need in sheltering them that much if at all. it will give them more experience with it.
