I'm glad you're getting a kick out of the game. I haven't won a game yet, but that hasn't stopped me from trying. I think the trick is to do very little to evolve the disease -- keep a low profile until you get Madagascar infected. Then spend the points. It's infuriating! Neither of us has won the game, but we both eventually had to walk away from it because it was just eating up all our time! It seems that Madagascar is the most disease-resistant island in the universe... close their ports at the first sign of trouble.
