Snuggies are the Coolest TV Offer Evar?

Currently there are two TV ‘only’ offers that I absolutely love and would actually consider purchasing. The first is ‘Shamwow’! Its made by Germans so you know its good, right Vince? Basically, the shamwow is a shammy like you’d use to dry your car, except on a grander scale and pimped by some guy named Vince who had to have been a mother’s nightmare growing up (really, a WHOLE 2 liter bottle of coke?)

I like the product, but I think I actually like watching Vince do his shtick and listening to the customer testimonials better. I mean really, why spend $20 once when I can by two big bundles of Bounty paper towel for the same… and with the Bounty, I support Lumberjacks.

The second is one I would actually buy (I’ve considered it). Lately my 5 year old has been asking for one. “If I had a snuggie I wouldn’t have to take my arms out from under the blanket to eat (insert food here)”. She’s made this comment a couple of times this week which proves two things. One, marketing towards the younger generations really, really works. And two, snuggies ARE THE COOLEST THING EVER!! EVER!!

I mean, look at them. The guy in the upper right looks awesome sitting there with his smug, “I’m warm while watching TV and you’re not!” look on his face. Grandma is able to finish knitting those hats for the grandkids while keeping warm. Your sister-in-law has no problems playing with the child she had with the local drug boss while relaxing on the couch and you can sit there idly on the couch passing time on facebook or myspace (depending on how old you are). What could be better?

I’ll tell you what. You can get TWO SNUGGIES for $20, plus an LED book light. Now you can sit up late at night, reading your favorite romance novel, dreaming your SO was a responsive as the one in the book and not feel the slight chill that runs through the house at two am. Of course, your hands will be FREEZING, but who cares. You can look cool while staying warm. Even better, if you get the red one, you could go as a monk for Halloween!!

If anyone actually has a snuggie, let me know… I’m really considering getting one and I want to know what you think of the blanket with arms…

Why not just put a bathrobe on backwards? same difference. the one with the laptop is too old for myspace. she’s definitely on FB there.

Now the shamwow, that’s entirely different. Those guys at the “as seen on TV” store at the mall had better watch out, or they will get trampled by chronic spillers of 3-liter sodas!

I call my snuggie my power blanket! It gives you super jedi powers..not sure why they left that out of the commercial.
