So last Sunday was the SuperBowl, and while I didn’t pay too much attention to what was on the tv, I have caught up with the ads through Hulu and through SuperBowl Ads @ Fanhouse. I have to say some were funny, some not so much.

For instance, I really, really liked the HUlu ad with Alec Baldwin. “We’re aliens and thats how we roll” is probably the best line in the whole commercial. Though I liked how they edited the laughs together. Budwiser though, struck out with their ads. I felt they were stronger in seasons past and not so much this year. Dorritos was ok (if eating dorritos could make clothes fall off or ATM’s spit out cash, I’d be fatter than Buddah) and I just plain didn’t follow the Castrol Grease Monkey ad.

The one that seems to be causing the most commotion though are the ads from GoDaddy (again!). I have to say, I like the ads, they’re on par with godaddy’s level in my opinion (lets face it, you don’t use godaddy because of their moral superiority, but because they’re cheap and easy right?). The problem is that we may see less commercials like it if more people like These Guys keep pulling away from sponsors due to their ads. Its a good thing we’re not in Europe where every other commercial would make you blush (some of them are awesome).
