Thats one endorsement…

That I wouldn’t want. Ginnfer Flowers, the woman who threw a wrench in to Bill’s 1992 Campaign by admitting to having an affair with Clinton said she would most likely vote for Hillary. Granted, she hasn’t made up her mind yet, but from the CNN story it looks like the only reason she’d be voting for Clinton is because she’s a woman.

“I would love to see a woman president, I just didn’t think it would be her,” Flowers said.

If your reason for voting for someone is simply based on gender, you shouldn’t be voting. Another point that is often over looked is that if I stood up and declared that I’m voting for Jim Bob because he’s a guy, I’d be shouted down and chased out of town for being a misogynist.

In other news, Huckabee is picking up speed and according to a new national poll out today has moved in to the second position in the GOP race nationally. He’s been making a lot of headway lately in several of the early voting states and if he can pull off some first and second place finishes in the early primaries, he might just be able to grab the nomination. Go Mike Go!

Back where she belongs

I picked her up from the shop Monday evening. It had only been about two weeks since I dropped her off to have the repairs made. In the meantime I was at Disney and then I drove my parents super cool minivan (thanks mom!) but I was sure happy to get the X back and even more pleased to find that minus the bumper stickers she was looking better than before.

The body shop actually did the work in a decent amount of time and the truck would have been back sooner had the insurance company not dragged their feet getting out to inspect it (something that when I talked to them originally they said they wouldn’t need to do…). Once it was inspected and approved for work, Crashmasters took care of her like she was their own. And they did a really good job too.

It looks like I *may* be getting tires for Christmas, which is good as I really need them (as well as an alignment) and I do have a couple of stickers to put back on the new bumper, but I haven’t decided if I’m going to yet. Something in me likes the unspoiled beauty of the new rear end. As a bonus, I now have the official Nissan trailer hitch, where before it was the U-Haul special. w00t!
