Santa Claus is watching you or, more accurately, with NORAD’s, Google is tracking Santa on Google earth. Thats right. The big G (whether you love ‘em or hate ‘em) is helping out with the Santa tracking this year as NORAD heads in to its 52nd year of tracking the mischievous elf on his travels around the world.
Norad’s involvement began in 1955 with a mistake made in a Sears Roebuck catalog and has continued since (noradsanta has been online for several years now) and the addition of the google earth aspect should make it even cooler. Currently you can visit the site and play games and as of 2AM mst on December 24th you can download the special tracker and use it to track santa’s movements around the globe. A research team recently concluded that santa would have 34 microseconds at each home (or Pigeon Forge cabins) and have about 48 hours to make the trip.
All I gotta say is that guy can move it.
