The Gift that keeps on giving?
So I’ve been looking for the perfect gift to give some people and I think I’ve found it. With the gift of Personalized Flash Drives I can give my brothers something they can use and I can load one for my parents with ALL the photos from the disney trip. Heck, I could even toss the videos I captured on there as well for them.
The neat thing is that they have some pretty cool patterns as well (Snowflakes, Happy Holidays, Thank You, Butterflies etc) for the front of the drive and I can engrave up to two lines on the back side. I think that’d make a pretty snazzy holiday gift don’t you? Though mom might have a hard time figuring out how to use it…
TOP 10 PERSONALIZED FLASH DRIVE GIFT IDEAS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
- Give them to mom with pictures of her grandkids on them (the new Brag Book!)
- Give a personalized flash drive to the college student in your family to keep them organized
- Give a drive to your nephew who is into making his own music. Let him save his songs on a drive with his name on it
- Give one to coworkers and associates, include a Thank You Theme for their hard work
- Give it to your spouse with images and notes of affection, maybe even a song?
- It’s like the new mix cd, but with the capacity to carry photos too – it’s the perfect gift for teens to exchange!
- Give someone a flash drive with an online book downloaded on it (for the family geek!)
- Give your customers a Holiday Gift with your corporate logo engraved on it!
- Give them out at Trade Shows and other events with your own branding
- Give them to anyone who already has everything! Nothing beats the gift of personalization

Yeah sounds great, unless someone already has one that fills there needs, then it becomes jsut something else collecting dust. Granted different people have different needs when it comes to storage, but if the flash drive is anything less then a gig, what’s the point? I would rather have the $40 bucks (or whatever the cost). But it is defenitely better then a Butt Ugly Martians DVD from the $5 bin at Walmart. Or a set of StarWars Pez dispensers.

That is an awesome idea. My mother and I have a tendency to get ours confused, so have personalized ones would be great. Plus it’s a gift that’s personal, useful, and thoughtful all at the same time.

Only get it for your brothers if you want them to continue talking about the bad gifts you give them.
I agree it has the potential to be a good gift, but it depends on the audience. In this case your brother’s are not very big gadget guys, odd considering I my profession and college background, but true nonetheless. I have a usb thumb drive that is pretty much always attached to the keys so very low possibility of getting it confused with someone elses. Now if you packaged it with a digital picture frame that could read from said thumbdrive, then that may be a really cool gift.(assuming you also loaded the thumb drive with pics, although even if you didn’t still very cool). But if you really want to get something for your brother, at least one inparticular, might I suggest an instant read meat thermometer,( you may want to check with the wife though to make sure she is not getting it) Williamsonoma has a few nice ones and so does pampered chef.

Some of them do.
Of course, I content that the Copy of Butt Ugly Martians I gave him for Christmas one year (a dollar at Kroger!) was worth the investment and addition to his movie collection.
