ASMW – Jake Shimabukuro
This weeks ASMW post comes from the cool weekly email I get from Amie Street. I had heard a version of Somewhere over the Rainbow done on the ukulele a while ago and I liked that version. Todays choice comes not from the artist who did that one, but another version. Jake Shimabukuro has been called the Jimmy Hendrix of the ukulele and its very apparent why. Just listen to it.
I learned how to play the ukulele in school once, and I forgot just how much fun the tune can be…
