That was one of the most bias and intellectually devoid article that i have ever read. Two of your 13 reasons are her laugh, are you kidding me?

Bill Clinton was probably one of the best presidents of the last 30 years, your clear ignorance to any political insight is all to obvious.

Please dont vote for the good of this country.
You'll notice that the title of the post is 13 reasons to not vote for Hillary Clinton and not her husband Bill. Unless I'm mistaken, Bill isn't the one running for office this time, his wife is and I never said word one about him being a bad president. One of the best things that happened to the country was there being a Democratic President and a Republican Congress at the same time. That way, the checks and balances that the founding fathers invisioned actually worked. Unlike the past 7 years with a GOP controlled whitehouse and Congress where spending has been out of control.

The system works best when you have foes working against each other. But thanks for your comment. It provided a lot of insight in to why Hillary should be president.
Her laugh isn't that bad. I've heard FAR worse, lol. You work almost 3 jobs? What does that say about the American dream today?

Btw, who are you looking at as a solid Presidential Candidate? Good thing Bush can't run for a 3rd term, lol.

It says I'm willing to work hard to get what I want. Besides, the fireworks job is more fun than work... :)

I'm seriously looking at huckabee. The guy I'd vote for over and over again isn't running yet...

MIke, I wanted to talk about the 5K for new babies. While it sounds like a wonderful idea its really nothing more than a government handout that will do nothing except reinforce the need of government to meddle in our lives. Not to mention the fact that those of us who have already had children (who are still young, mine are 4 and 1.5) are screwed. I get to pay for an entitlement that neither I nor my children will benefit from. Add that to the fact that her plan was to give it to EVERY child born in the US regardless of their parents status and I bet there would be an influx of people coming to the US to have their children just for the savings bond.

If everyone gave one dollar wonderful. We'd be closer to making up the deficit that we're already in, which is something that I'd like the government to do. Instead of dreaming up new ways to increase spending, we need to be looking to decrease spending as well as decrease the size of government.

I don't want to live in a society where the government tells me when and where to go to the doctor, have a child or anything else. I want to live in a society where people are rewarded for working hard (I work two almost three jobs) instead of penalized for working hard. I don't like to see my earnings involuntarily taken from me and passed on to someone who chooses not to work.

You point out number 12 and ask about bettering the lives of all american citizens. If her goals were really that, then I might consider her as presidential material. However, I don't think, and nothing I have read or seen has proven that those are indeed her goals.

And have you heard her laugh?? ;)

Thanks for the comments they were very well thought out and I'm sure I'm going to reread them and respond more!

I disagree with many things on the list.

#3, Have you seen the tax rates on the wealthy? It's insane. Warren Buffet did a informal survey of his employees to see how much they are paying in taxes. I believe it came out that anyone making under 200K was paying about 30% in taxes, whereas Warren Buffet was paying 17%!!!!!!

If any taxes should be cut it should be for the lower/middle class NOT the upper class. Over the past 8 years, we've seen tax cut after tax cut after tax cut for the upper class but nothing for the rest of us.

#4, Hillary Care? Get over yourself. Clinton's plan for Medical Insurance allows for two options. 1) If you have private medical insurance that you like, fine you can keep it or 2) If you don't have private insurance or don't like it, you can opt into a plan run by the government.

Either way, it's your choice. Now granted, if you want to get the government plan it's likely you'll have to go to a certified hospital.... BUT WAIT! It's like that with Private Insurance TOO! Wow, what a change. That's right, most private health insurance requires you to go to a specific hospital or clinic, or you have to find a practice that will accept your insurance.

Her health care plan also calls for lower prescription medicines. That's a good thing! There is no reason someone needs to pay over $100/month for one prescription medicine!

Basically... anything is better then what we have now, why? Because right now the mentality for MANY Americans is, with or without medical insurance.... "Can I afford to be healthy? Can I afford the medicine? Can I afford the emergency visit and emergency surgery?" Why? We live in the most powerful nation in the world and we're worried about medical care, that shouldn't be an issue, but it is and we all know anything is better then what we have now.

As far as Canada sending people over to the US for treatment, I've heard of stories like that, but those were always cases of the exception rather then the rule. And also, to be fair, the same thing happens here in the United States, if you don't have insurance, then a hospital may not pick up the tab to do the surgery. But here in the US, these stories are bordlerline rule rather then exception. GASP.

Also, brining this point together with the taxes issued, higher taxes means more income for the government which means more money for us. It's a cycle. Let's look at one closer to home, I don't want the school taxes to go up with my property tax, I voted against it and then it doesn't go up, three months later I'm complaining because my child's school is falling apart and the classes are over capacity and there are little to no supplies. More taxes means more money for resources, teachers, supplies, maintenance, innovative technologies. Same goes for federal taxes, if we didn't cut taxes all the time the government would have money to build new hospitals, etc. I won't even mention that we just approved of OVER 200 BILLION dollars for the war.

5) Giving a child 5,000 dollars for a future college expense account is an amazing idea! Something that would help out the citizens of this country as college costs go up and income rates stagnate. You're right though, that's a lot of money... but think of it this way... there are over 250 Million Americans in the country, $1.00 from each of them would mean... 250 Million dollars, that's enough money for 50,000 newborns to have an account setup for them. Of course assuming there are about 4 million babies for each year, that figure would be closer to $100 a year/per US citizen. But remember this number could be offset by higher taxes for richer folk, or at least equal taxes across the board.

8) You're right, it sucks that she throws out the sex card, but is it a lie? No. The other Presidential candidates to play their cards like their party of a all boys club. You're right it should be whoever is best for the job gets it... is that how reality plays out? Nope. Women have traditionally been paid less and promoted less often then their male counterparts.

I've seen Obama play his race card, apparently his "blackness" has been questioned.... does that mean he's a whiner? No, it just means the people of this country still hold to stereotypes and prejudices.

I hear other candidates complaining ALL the time... apparently that's part of the race to become President.

9)One could say that none of the candidates have done ANYTHING impressive. For every good bill they support they turn around and support a bad bill. It's a never ending cycle of good and bad. Politics isn't always about what's best for the people. Sure, that's what they go in with the intention of... but due to circumstances they can't control (other legislators) they don't always achieve that.

10) She cheated? Sure, she bought a home in New York, but have you ever thought, what if she genuinely wanted to move to New York? All that matters is she lives there now, and she does her best for the New York citizens, that is called representing. For the record, there is no time requirement for being a resident before you can become a Senator in any state. Oh and by the way, in 2000 New Yorkers ELECTED her, and in 2006 New Yorkers REELECTED her with 67% of the vote, so she earned what she has and apparently New York is happy with her.

11) No different then what the American public has been spoonfed for the past 7 years. Weren't good Presidents there to assure the American public rather then scare the living crap out of them? What happened to, "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself?" What great President said that?

12) You really want a vision? How about to better the lives of all American citizens? Or does she have to have imagination and say something about a shining city?

13) First Spouse... Former President. He's got experience and could hold his own as a diplomat for the United States.

Interesting post, :)

I agree...she scares me a little. I'm all about getting a woman president, but I want it to be the RIGHT woman, not some smarmy flip-flopping, power-hungry socialist. I"m all about subsidized healthcare for everyone, but only if it's backed properly. And I was also very leary of her sudden move to be a NY senator instead of a state where she actually lived for a long period of time and had the chance to do some good for its residents.
