I did it! $1000 in two and a half months just by blogging. Of course, most of thats gone back in to the blog and my other sites by paying hosting bills, domain registrations, advertising, upgrades to the servers (I have two dedicated server accounts and one virtual server account), design fees and donations to other sites. Now that I know I can do it though, the next $1000 should be easier to make and since most of my costs for the rest of the year are covered…
I know what you’re thinking, “how’d you do it mcangeli? Can you teach me how to be an internet god (notice the little g?) like you?” No, grasshopper, thats something you have to learn on your own. But I can point you in the right direction. Despite everything bad that the crowd on techcrunch has to say about it, PayPerPost (or IZEA) is one of the best things to happen for bloggers in a long time. Getting paid to blog. There are other programs as well, but PPP has the largest number of higher paying opportunities around than anyone else. If you’re looking to make money online and so far have been relying solely on Adsense, you need to consider other options.
I’ve also signed up for text link ads. I’ve just started this program, but I hope it does as well for me as it has for others before me.
Either way, with some careful planning and some hard work (at least a post a day) its possible to make money on line..

Rock on, man! I’m closing in on $1500. We rock, we ROCK! And rule, and whatnot, lol. Here’s hoping we make billions doing what we love and that Google, at some point, calms down, lol.

Some one watches cory in the house on Disney Channel…
Yea, if you count the amount I’m “owed” I’ve made over 1600, however, I don’t count it until its in the bank!

Nice. I hit 600, waiting on 200, so 800 in about a year, lol. But I’ll slack for months. In one month, May or June, I think I made about 300 bucks. So, it’s possible just a lot of work, lol.
Good job, and keep up the hard work!

I’m around my $3000 mark with PPP, but I’ve been there since day one and $1500 of that falls into 1K Tues winnings. I’ve only recently started working on it all. Lucky for me I started really working on my own domain after the last update so I don’t think I’ll ever really know what kind of PR I earned. Last month the predictors were all showing 4s–I know you can’t really trust those, but I was at least expecting a 2–wishing for a 3—I’m a 1… *sigh* I’m slowly branching into other little ways to monetize. When I talk to friends, I consider myself only a semi-pro blogger. I just do what I really have the time to do, ya know?
