Amy likes to send E-Cards. She likes e-vites, e-mail and e-cards. The current slew of e-cards though, tend to be one demensional and rather silly looking when looked at in any manner (at least the ones from some of the bigger e-card sites) and almost all of them require some kind of subscription for the good stuff.
Well, I finally found a site that might be worth joining just to send E-Cards. JacquieLawson.com’s unique and artistic E-Cards are one of a kind digital master pieces (some have called them mini movies) that really do convey some nice feelings in a digital format. She got her start seven years ago with a cool card she called “Christmas Cottage” (which you can still send via her site) and has been designing ever since. Some of her stuff is really cool (Grace would like the one in this post with the Fairy) and some is unbelievable. The best part? Its only $10 a year for a subscription to her site which allows you to send amazing e-cards to anyone you want.
Its an easy way to send out Christmas cards to those people who don’t necesairly deserve a stamp (if you send a e-card to 15 people your subscription has paid for itself!). Definately going to pass this one along to the boss.

Those are really pretty ecards. I’m not one to send ecards though. Oh I did it all the time when I first came on the internet and now the people who are just coming on (my grandma for instance) is sending them. Those are beautiful cards. I’m too cheap to spend $10 on them though haha

You know, now that I think about it I did that too. I was always sending ecards, and now I’ll only send ‘em when I want the person to know I’m thinking of them and the gift/card I sent is still in the mail somewhere or they’re really far away. Even then, I usually type up a lengthy email, call ‘em, or snail mail them.

Oh gosh, my friend Catie sent me the most bizarre e-card last Thanksgiving. It looks like one of the old Campbell soup characters and it sings this odd song about making you a turkey, and then a (cooked) turkey floats behind it or something and it continues to sing about how it’s scare of the wishbone…I guess you’d have to see it lol Maybe I’ll send it to you this year.

Yea, I was never ever in to the whole ecard thing. When amy sends me one, I tend to just delete it….
