My youngest brother is getting married this weekend and my family (me, my wife and children) are not invited. We had a personal falling out and things have never been quite the same between the two of us. Oh, we’re cordial to each other at family events but contact is for the most part, limited. Amy suggested today that I should go and sit in the back during the ceremony and leave before the reception. I wouldn’t feel right. I wasn’t invited, I’m not going.

Family feuds like this aren’t (unfortunately) uncommon and often times they last for ever (or for a while). I’m hoping this doesn’t become a permanent issue between the two of us. By the way, if anyone is in Kennesaw tomorrow and you want to help me lay corner round to finish the floor let me know….
