So the kitchen is almost done. The tile is laid (I finished grouting under the fridge last night) all that has to be done is the trim (corner round…) and we’ll call it done. Its a good thing I had Ricks help (he own’s a flooring company) as I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere near the results I did if I had tried it on my own. Or would I?
I’ve learned that when it comes to DIY projects, Knowledge is power and with a set of DVD’s from Hardware and Tools, I could accomplish almost anything I need to (such as building a garage!). Luckily, my garage is already built, but I do need help and guidance in organizing it and making it a garage to be proud of. Doityourself.com offers a myriad of guides and tips on how to tackle any home project by yourself. Making it possible for anyone (even those more prone to land in the hospital) to handle those jobs.
As some one who is usually getting an ear full from his wife about a job he has attempted, I’ll definately be checking out doityourself.com before I try organizing the garage or insulating the crawl space myself. You should too.
