Google Buzz

A friend of mine was trying something on his blog recently where he’d set up a way for his readers to call in and leave him a message. Well, this is similar to that, but not quite. In this round, YOU have the ability to add an opt-in phone message to your readers. Or your sports team, girl scout troop, Sunday School class… whatever. Its easy, inexpensive and it has a far better reach than an email news letter or other mailing (if you’re like me you tend to throw away or delete the junk mailings…).

Vontoo voice messaging offers users a quick and easy way to send out a broadcast message to whoever you need to hear it. It works better than calling posts, its more efficient than emails and like I said before, its cheap. Don’t believe me? Look at some of the success stories on their site. One comes from around the corner here in Georgia. A framing store sent out 90 calls using vontoo to customers who had outstanding credit (money in an account) at their store. Almost 90 percent (80 customers) came in to have something framed as a result. The cost? Nine dollars (10 cents a call!!).

These days its tough to find things like that. But think of the possibilities. You can use this to call your child’s soccer team, your bowling team or your group of friends regarding the party this weekend. Need to let someone know that an event has been canceled but you don’t want to make 100 calls? Let vontoo do it for you! Couldn’t be easier.
