I’ve written about Radar.net before, but now its even better. They’ve added the ability to make a photo public and share it via a link, email or embedded in a page like this one I took of turner field on my Blackberry Curve. The site only gets better. They’ve also updated the mobile client with more cool stuff. Check it out and visit Radar.net today. If you join, let me know so I can add you as a friend!

Before I say anything else, I want to make it known that yes, this post is sponsored by HomeCamera and they asked that I be “fair and impartial” to their product. Ok, now that thats out of the way, I want to say that this might just be the thing that would cause me to buy a web camera. I could mount a wireless one outside and keep an eye on the dogs (and I could see just how many times Lumiere runs in a circle in a day!).
Currently in beta, home camera offers people with web cams a way to check in from anywhere. ANYWHERE. Cell phone, pda, laptop, computer lab, cyber cafe, where ever you are, you just log in to the site and wham. You can view your cam. Need to check on the baby while you’re out? Pull up the mobile client and take a peek. Want to see how your distressed doggie is doing? Pull it up at work and log in. Couldn’t get any better could it?
Well, it could, because the system is free. FREE (as in BEER)! You do have to purchase “mobile” credits to use with your cell phone/pda (you get 25 right off the bat free) but otherwise the system is free itself (there are some small ads on the control panel…). You down load their software, add your camera and off you go. Its actually pretty cool and it was pretty easy as well. I’ll be the first to admit, I haven’t take a look at all the offerings out there, but this one seems to be pretty good.
For parents of teens, tots or four legged creatures, homecamera.com might just be a good thing.

CNN has been running a great series lately on their site from CareerBuilder.com that has included tips on resumes, job hunting and todays latest Horrible Meeting Mistakes. If you’re anything like I am in a meeting, you tend to sit there counting down the minutes until the meeting is over (there’s this one painting in one of the meeting rooms here that I like to look at and imagine what its like to sit on the bridge and fish…).
Apparently, thats bad meeting practice. Some of the others are being unprepared, sitting silently, leaving your cell phone on and chewing gum (thats just a few of them). I would suggest reading the whole LIST to find out what exactly you’re guilty of (GRUNTLED!)

Was it me or did the weekend seem to go by way too fast? It seems like all I did this weekend was clean the house and the thing still isn’t clean. I got the Kitchen floor buffed and cleaned on Saturday morning, mopped it twice even to help get the grout haze off. It looks good. It looks even better now that we have some stuff back in the kitchen (the table, the bakers rack, a lot of plants) and we managed to get almost everything hung on the walls that amy wanted hung (except the fat chef poster which needs to be framed).
Now its a matter of getting the rest of the house back in order. We have to go through the stuff I pulled out of the coat closet (coats, kites, and other assorted junk) and off the walls (most of it is my in-laws) and pair it down. A good bit will be thrown away or donated to St. Vinnys. The stuff that is ours anyways. The rest will be boxed up and put in the basement.
Its my goal to get the house back in order by the weekend, but that won’t be an easy task. Then I have to clean the deck (pressure wash it) and the fence and some other stuff and hopefully get all that treated with a sealer this fall. It seems that there is an ever growing list of things to do in an amazingly shorter amount of time. Doesn’t it?
