A Good Nights Sleep….

Sleep With three dogs, two kids (soon to be three) and a wife that tosses and turns most of the night its almost impossible for me to get a solid nights sleep at home (unless I crash on the couch in the basement). The mattress we used to have, I could feel every toss, bump, move and bounce that amy made on her side of the bed while we were sleeping. If she didn’t sleep, I didn’t sleep. Not any more.

Two years ago, we broke down and invested in a sleep number bed (I’m around a 60 - 65) and it was one of the best investments we’ve made. If I need a little firmer mattress one night and a soft pillowly mattress the next, its easy peasy. I just hit the buttons on the remote for my side of the bed and I’m in sleep heaven. Plus, I cannot feel amy as she tosses and turns all night. Which is nice, the only way I know she isn’t sleeping is when I hear the tv click on and see the glow of the LCD through my eyelids.

Yea, I still have the dogs and kids to contend with when it comes to getting a good nights sleep, but at least I’m comfy when I’m trying to catch 40 winks.

Morph Me!

I came across a fairly cool piece of software the other day that I thought I’d mess around with. Its called Morpheus Photo-Morpher and it allows you to take two or more photos and morph them in to one (see how spidey morphs in to Buddy Christ?). Its fairly easy to use (though the dots could have been a little bigger) and the end result is ok. I do admit, I need to play around with it more.

A cool thing would be to take photos of the girls (emms and grace) and do a timeline morph of them. It might be a little weird though to actually watch them grow older… or to watch my parents (or even amy and I for that matter) grow older. It could be fun to watch the cats morph in to dogs or vice versa.

The software came with several examples of how to use it and once I fired it up, it was fairly easy to get going. Load my two photos, pick my anchor points and adjust and I was off and running. It really is worth looking at the Morpheus Photo Morpher, though if you install it you need to be careful, it does install two other “programs” if you’re not careful, though you do have the option to not install it.

If you try it out, post a link to your morph here, I want to see it!
