I used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass.

Golf is a four letter word.

I was invited to a vendor sponsored Golf tournament this past week. Which is cool, I play golf (if what I do is considered golf…), I even took it as one of my required Phys ed electives in college. I have a mean slice. My problem is that when I attempted to register for the tournament, they wanted to know my handicap. Outside of some slight mental retardation (according to my wife that is ;) ) I’m not sure what my handicap actually is. So I went in search of some golf tournament software.

What I found was Nethandicap.com. A site totally devoted to helping you keep track of your handicap. I think this rocks. I tried to read and understand the wikipedia entry on Golf Handicaps (which was like reading a physics book) and I was more confused than before. Of course, its been a while since I’ve played a round of golf, so I have nothing to compute my handicap with (I selected 26 - 35 on the registration form…) but you can bet once I do, I’ll be figuring it out.

The Tournament is coming up at the end of the month, I’ll post some photos if I can (good old crackberry camera!) and let you know just how well I do…
