There’s a new family movie coming out soon that has a positive message for children of all ages and if you like dolphins or beaches or dolphins at beaches, then Eye of the Dolphin is probably a good fit for you. I already know that I’m going to have to go see this with at least two of the women in the household (both Amy and Grace love dolphins) and I’m not sure I’ll mind.

The story is about a 15 year old girl who’s kicked out of her school so she has to go live with her father who happens to be a dolphin researcher. She befriends a lone dolphin and they help each other cope and grow up. Like I said, its got a decent story. Don’t believe me? Watch the trailer:

It stars Carly Schroeder, who starred in this summer’s soccer hit “Gracie” and opens on August 24th (HEY! Thats today!!). Eye of the Dolphin has already received several awards including best drama and best actress at some of the smaller independent film festivals this year and could garner several nominations at the Oscars. At the very least, its worth it to try and WIN FREE TICKETS before August 26th, don’tcha think??
