I hope the day never comes where I need to get help for someone I know because of a drug addiction. If it does however, I know where I’ll turn. 4 Rehabilitation is a leader in the rehab referral service and they can help find help for more than just drug use. Any kind of addiction, they know where to turn.
If you know someone who has a problem and you want to do what you can to help them out, check out 4 rehabilitation. You might just save a life.

Ok, so my post about the iDaddy was in response to a competition at payperpost called the Blog Battle Royale. Our task was to write about a new iRobot from the company that made the roomba.
Well, voting is now open and I need as many votes as I can get. I could use a new roomba vacuum cleaner (wouldn’t that be cool??). So get over to payperpost and start voting today! Oh, and don’t just vote for mine out right, there are several good posts to vote for…

For the longest time I was a 35mm fan. I refused to give up the old ways of photography. Film was it. Everywhere we went, every trip, we’d carry our 35mm Canon Rebel with us along with at least five rolls of film (depending on how long we were going). The down side was not seeing what we had captured until months later when we had all of the film developed. Not any more.
Last August, we bit the bullet and bought a Canon 20D. Its the top of the line consumer camera canon makes (at least it was a year ago) and really, more camera then we need. But it takes awesome photos. Half the photos in the gallery here come from it, the other half come from a little Olympus that we picked up in Grand Cayman because its waterproof (you can see the photos it takes in the gallery as well) and we love them both. The 35mm is sitting like the velvetine rabbit, on a shelf in my wife’s study, unused, with plenty of good photos left in it.
If you’re considering a move to digital cameras, consider several things before you buy. What kind of user are you? Where will you be taking photos mostly? Does size matter (do you want something you can carry with you at all times?)? We currently have three cameras, two smaller (fit in my pocket) cameras and the larger one. On our most recent trip, we only took the olympus with us (I was worried about taking the 20D with us to New Mexico…) and it worked fine. With a 1gb memory card in it, we were able to take close to 300 photos in four days (our record is close to 700 in a week). Something we couldn’t have done with a 35mm camera (at least not cheaply…).

You Should Be a Joke Writer
|

You’re totally hilarious, and you can find the humor in any situation.
Whether you’re spouting off zingers, comebacks, or jokes about life…
You usually can keep a crowd laughing, and you have plenty of material.
You have the makings of a great comedian - or comedic writer.

Thats bizzare… isn’t it?? I would not have thought that I should be a “joke writer”. I didn’t even think that would be an option. Of course, Chandler on Friends wanted to be a joke writer….
